FAQ

What does my dog need to attend Chasing Tails Pet Farm?

Vaccines: DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza

Trial Day: Temperament Testing

Minimum Age: Four Months

Spay/Neuter: Max of Ten Months Old (Contingent Per Dog)

What is a Trial Day?

The trial day is a complimentary day of daycare that allows the staff to temperament test the dog and make sure this environment is suitable for their personal comfortability and safety.

What if my dog does not pass a trial?

In the event your dog does not pass a trial, there are other steps we can take before doing a re-trial, such as in-home training, on-site training, or board and train. (See training page for more information)

What does free range mean?

We provide a supervised open play environment for our boarding and daycare dogs, allowing them to play freely with one another.

Why is socialization good for my dog?

In our free range play environment, your dog will learn essential social queues, boundaries, build confidence, and become the best version they can be!

What should I send for a boarding stay?

For boarding, all we need is their food in a lockable container with their name and feeding instructions written on it! We do not recommend sending any other items, such as bowls or bedding, since we provide those.

How do we handle inclement weather?

Our indoor and outdoor play areas allow dogs to move freely between spaces, ensuring they can stay active while staying out of the elements. Rain or shine, every pup enjoys plenty of fun, comfort, and supervision throughout the day.

Do you accept any pets other than dogs?

Currently, we are only accepting dogs.
